Founded in 2003, Brighton Partners is a private equity firm focused on small businesses with $10 to $30 million of revenue and less than $3 million of EBITDA.
We like regional distribution and service companies where geographic expansion is a key driver of future growth. Brighton makes control investments in partnership with management, aligning our interest through a combination of retained equity ownership and equity-based incentives. We prefer a hands-on approach, bringing objective analysis and years of small, growth-oriented company experience to each investment opportunity. We pride ourselves on being good communicators – with our management teams, our lenders, and our limited partners. Brighton operated as an independent sponsor until 2017 when it raised Brighton Micro-Cap Fund, LP, a $21 million committed fund. Brighton is currently investing out of Brighton Micro-Cap Fund II, LP, a $30 million fund raised in 2023.
