Rally Sport Direct Acquisition

Brighton provided equity in support of Premier Performance’s acquisition of Rally Sport Direct, an on-line retailer and wholesale distributor of aftermarket performance parts for Subaru and other sport compact vehicles.

Partial Exit of Premier Performance Investment

Brighton sold control of Premier Performance in a recapitalization transaction led by Capital Partners. Brighton continues to own a significant minority equity position in the business.

New Premier Performance CEO

Working closely with management, Brighton recruited Matt Jordan to become the new CEO of Premier Performance. Rus Michaelson, Premier’s founder, will continue as Chairman. Matt came to Premier from Eckler’s Automotive, a leading retailer and wholesaler of automotive aftermarket restoration parts.

Lawn Dawg Warrant Purchase

Along with management, Brighton purchased an outstanding warrant position in Lawn Dawg from Tenth Street Capital.

Lawn Dawg Refinancing

Brighton arranged a new senior credit facility with Fifth Third Bank for Lawn Dawg and repaid in full a mezzanine note due to Tenth Street Capital.

Northridge 4×4 Acquisition

Premier Performance acquired Northridge 4×4, a leading distributor of aftermarket performance parts and accessories for Jeeps and off-road vehicles.

LawnMaster of Derry Acquisition

Lawn Dawg purchased the assets of LawnMaster of Derry (Nashua, New Hampshire), a tuck-in acquisition for Lawn Dawg’s existing New Hampshire branches.

Premier Recapitalization

Brighton arranged a new senior credit facility with Fifth Third Bank to support a dividend recapitalization transaction for Premier Performance.

Lush Lawn Service Acquisition

Lawn Dawg acquired Lush Lawn Service, an independent lawn care business based in Hartford. The strategic transaction marked Lawn Dawg’s entrance into Connecticut, which joined New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maine and New York as states serviced by Lawn Dawg branches.
