Mr. Broos founded Brighton Partners in 2003. He developed his operations expertise at Booz-Allen & Hamilton, working with a diverse group of manufacturing, distribution and financial services companies. He began to focus on small, micro-cap companies in 1988 when he initiated the leveraged buyout of Altama Delta Corporation, the leading manufacturer of military footwear.
Mr. Broos joined Galbreath & Company in 1995 and led its turnaround effort as the company’s Chief Operating Officer. In 1997 he negotiated the company’s merger with LaSalle Partners and has continued to represent the Galbreath family in numerous real estate and private equity acquisition and divestiture transactions.
Mr. Broos is a graduate of the University of Georgia and The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
